Carnal Ghia (1991-1992)

Carnal Ghia was an alternative rock/post-punk band active in the early 1990s. Emerging from the Delaware Valley, Carnal Ghia was often associated shared stages with bands like Unrest, Zen Guerrilla, and Smashing Orange. The band gained recognition for their 1992 self-titled 7" single, recorded in Steve Albini's basement, which captured their raw and influential sound. Though their recorded output was limited, Carnal Ghia played a role in the regional punk and independent music landscape, particularly in Wilmington, DE.
